Story

Hi

You have received the link to this website because a group from GE Energy, Glasgow, are participating in the Bike & Hike fund raising event 29th April 2006,  in aid of Maggie's Centres which are located locally and nationally.

The Bike & Hike is split into three sections.   Every person will complete the 30 mile cycle and then, dependent on the level they have committed to, an 8 mile hike (Bronze), a 23 mile hike (Silver), or a 40 mile hike (gold).   This will be over a 24 hours period along the Great Glen Way starting at Fort William.

Those going for Silver are :   Karen Hawthorne, Kathryn McPherson, Les Smith and Kevin Twinn

Those going for Gold are:     Stephen Campbell, Olivier Queune, Alan Hamilton, Frank Van Dijk, Steve Wheaton, Sarah Mee, Steve Roberts (Sarah's husband)
and Tom McCormick from IBM

Between them they are hoping to raise £3000

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.    Please dig deep and support the team, or alternatively you can pledge with individuals.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.   It is also the most efficient way to sponsor the team: Maggie's Centres will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

On behalf of everyone that you for your support.    You can e-mail me at :  marilyn.thomson@ge.com
