Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our page.

Graham & Mark are raising money for Alzheimer Scotland and in memory of our mother, Sheila Robertson, who suffered from the effects of this disease in her final years before she passed away in early 2010.
We are climbing Kilimanjaro between 27th Sept and 7th October 2012 and every penny raised goes direct to the charity as we are funding the actual trip ourselves. Please give us your support.

12/05/12 - Final big event on our fundraising calendar - Night Golf at Turriff Golf club. Very well attended and everyone seemed to have a good time. A Golfing-themed auction of golf rounds and memorabila helped us raise £1573. Another fantastic effort -thanks to all who participated and to the golf clubs/individuals who donated.

14/05/12 - An excellent fundraising day today...
We raised over £800 doing a bag pack at Marks & Spencers in Inverurie!!!
A MASSIVE thank you to all the good friends and family members who helped us and of course to the lovely patrons of M&S who
gave so generously!! :)

26/03/12 - We appeared in the Inverurie and Turriff Advertisers over the weekend with an article about our fundraising and the use of the funds for the local community - fame at last!
Also look out for us at Marks & Spencers, Inverurie on 14th April - we might be packing your bags!

11/03/12 - Another jaunt up Bennachie this morning, a beautiful clear and sunny morning - believe it or not we were in just T-shirts by the time we reached the top... in March... in Scotland!
And we hit the 50% mark on our fundraising today - a good day all round

28/2/12 - We've been in contact with local care services and Alzheimers and delighted to announce that all proceeds from our fundraising will be used locally in the Aberdeenshire region. Look out for a press release soon!!

4/2/12 - A quick jaunt up Bennachie first thing this morning just to get our climbing legs going... 1/11th of the height of Kilimanjaro..

3/2/12 - Thanks to all who have donated so far - you are all stars!
Thanks to the Turriff Bridge Club for their whip round too. £80 in total - now that's a good hand!
