Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This summer we (Daniel, Kit, Vere, Joe, Tim, Tarquin and Harry) will be attempting to trek the north part of the GR20 long distance hiking trail in Corsica in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The GR20 has been crowned the most difficult trek in Europe. It is much tougher than any trek we have done and I'm enormously excited to visit this beautiful island and trek the hardest part of the 180km of world famous hiking trail.

I have, especially recently, been forced to deal with the death of a very close friend who passed away due to this horrific and unrelenting disease. The work that Cancer Research UK has been doing is inspirational and their cause is definitely worthwhile!

Our goal is to complete the North Section of the GR20 in 7 days (It is normally 9!). The island is rugged and terrain is rough. There will be plenty of scrambling over exposed sections and on certain days we will use steel chains and ladders for support. It's going to be tough.

Please dig deep and donate what you can to help the Cancer Research UK so that they can continue their hard work to eradicate this disease. No matter how big or small your donation is, it will be appreciated! With your support, Cancer Research UK can continue their handwork of researching and campaigning to end this horror.

Ps - Don't forget to Gift Aid it.
