Leicestershire Leicester and Rutland Headway is a voluntary organisation specialising in providing support and services to adults with an acquired or traumatic brain injury and their families. 

A brain injury can have a devastating and life changing effect and finding the appropriate support to assist you to adjust to these changes can be difficult.

Headway Leicester provides a range of opportunities and support through activity day services and city and countywide (including Rutland) outreach service.  They can offer information and guidance to families and carers at a difficult and uncertain time.

They will accept a referral from anyone as long as they have the consent of the individual being referred. (Read about the referral process) 

The focus of their work is to enable individuals to cope with their changed lives and move forward to achieve their best possible outcome which may include education, employment, voluntary work or independent living skills.
