1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer. At Prostate Cancer UK, we’re giving every man the power to navigate it. With over £100 million invested in research, treatment, and care, we’re building a future where prostate cancer no longer cuts men’s lives short. Together, we can help save men’s lives.

Story

This year is the Big One when I plan to run 145 miles in 45 hours from Birmingham to London along the Grand Union Canal. This is one tough challenge, possibly the toughest in the United Kingdom.

Training started in November 2010 and by the time I have completed the challenge I will have run 1600 miles in training and races.

As I approach this challenge, I will run in 4 x 50km trail races, 1 x 50 mile race, a 12 hour race in hope to get in excess of 110 km...this is no easy challenge and because of this I am looking to ask you to dig a little deeper into your pockets and purses  and donate towards this brilliant charity
