1st Uxbridge Scout Group provides Scouting to Uxbridge and the surrounding area. We are currently saving to send three Scouts to the World Jamboree in Sweden

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We belong to Uxbridge Scout Group and have been selected to go to the 2011 Scouting World Jamboree in Sweden. This is the way in which the Scouting family worldwide meets and strengthens their peaceful bonds of friendship. Any money we raise here will help our Scout Group fund this project. Some of the money raised will also enable Scouts from less fortunate countries around the world to attend the Jamboree which they would not be able to do without our help. To inspire you to donate some money to our cause, we have persuaded two of our leaders (Colin Allix and Richard Williams) to walk the 190-mile Wainwright Coast-to-Coast walk. We joined them at points along the way to give them support and to walk some of the way too. We really appreciate any money that you can give us for this project. They completed the walk in 11-days in May. Thank you to everyone who has supported them with a donation
