"Am I doing anything on Bank Holiday?" Yes - I was planning to run this race for 'fun', just for myself, but when I read Plan International's leaflet asking me this question because they are holding lots of events around these dates I thought I should use the event to raise a bit of money as well. This is a big challenge for me, I've not run through the winter and I've had to work really hard to get in shape. But my efforts are nothing compared with the hardships forgotten children cope with around the world, whom Plan are helping.
