Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am going to Gulu in Uganda www.watoto.com with a global team in November 2009. “Watoto” means children; and these children are orphans with HIV/AIDS, and abandoned infants between the ages of 0-2 years old, who live with a surrogate Mother in the Watoto villages that have been specially created by volunteers. I will be there to help build a structure in any one of the villages, which may include; children’s homes, classroom blocks, or teachers’ houses.

As well as volunteering to work here I also have to raise around £1300.00 to help in the costs of the project. This is on top of my airfare.

While I am very reluctant to ask you to help financially because of the present economic climate, I would be pleased if you were able to offer me a small donation to this worthwhile cause.
