I have never cycled 50 miles in one go, but am doing this in support of Lifecycle 5 which is raising money towards dementia research.

·    Over 800,000 people in the UK have dementia and patients live on average for 8-10 years from the first symptoms.

·         1 in 3 of us has a family member or close friend who is affected.

·         Dementia can reduce an independent, healthy individual to one who struggles in most aspects of life.
