Wobbleberry Challenge · 29 September 2016

The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.

Story

What is the Wobbleberry Challenge? Well... it's aimed at middle aged wimpy riders who ride horses but probably haven't left the ground in many years. This is me! The challenge is to compete at a BE80 (British Eventing 80cm) by the autumn of 2017. A BE 80 event involves competing at  Dressage, Showjumping and Cross Country all in one day.

I used to compete in my younger days, nowadays I live it all through my daughter as a pony club mum. Well, that's about to change! This is a major challenge for me as jumping scares me stiff! But it's something I would love to achieve. It will mean me getting fit and losing weight as well as getting over my jumping phobia.

The charity is "The Willberry Wonder Pony" charity, inspired by Hannah Francis, a 17 year old who sadly passed away due to an aggressive bone cancer. You can read about the charity at

This is all about kicking cancer's butt!

Thanks for your generous donations!
