Cooltan Arts Largactyl Shuffle Sponsored Walk · 10 October 2009

CoolTan Arts believes mental wellbeing is enhanced by the power of creativity. It's a charity run by and for people with mental distress and exist to inspire the well-being, creativity and participation of a diverse range of people with mental distress through the production of quality art.

Story

Sponsor me to do the Largactyl shuffle walk, in London's Southwark !!! ;-)

This monthly walk is AMAZING!!!

Not only does it cover the hidden history of Southwark, mental health, culture, art and the city, it is the ONLY walk in London designed and run by a volunteer team, many of whom have experienced mental distress.

It is a fantastic brain streatching, health enhancing, art related extravaganza.

CoolTan Arts believes mental well-being is enhanced by the power of creativity, www.cooltanarts.org.uk,
it is a brilliant charity and an asset to this London borough, deserving support. It provides art workshops for people experiencing mental distress and could do with a better building from which to run its workshops and community building.

This walk was named as one of London's top 10 walks by Time out.

For some participants the registration fee alone comes to 10% of their weekly income, so every penny counts...
