Magpas Air Ambulance bring the best pre-hospital emergency care, in the air or on land 24/7, including treatments normally only available in hospital. By providing this advanced care to patients across the East of England and surrounding areas, our charity not only saves lives but limits disability.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

On Boxing day Peter Morrill and Andy scott will set off from the UK in a 20 year old clapped out nissan with the hope of reaching the Gambia in west africa 3 weeks later. This will be a test of endurance for both man and machine, as it involves crossing the atlas mountains and also part of the vast sahara desert. Upon arrival, our vehicle will be sold at a charity auction and the proceeds given to  Gambian charities. We have decided that our trip will benefit Magpas, a local emergency medical charity that has saved many lives accross our region. Remember this is not any ordinary road trip, but 4000 miles of rough terrain, mine fields and sand dunes. Please give accordingly !
