<p>In September 2011 I will be travelling with a team of Flame International volunteers (as they carry out one of their projects) to photograph and interview the people they work with in southern Sudan - people who have survived more than 20 years of civil war and who now live in fear of brutal raids and child abductions by the LRA. Their work really is quite amazing.</p>

<p><strong><span style="font-weight: normal;"><strong>I will be giving away my pictures free of charge for Flame to use however they wish and I would like you help me go further with a gift of £800 to </strong></span>support the team as they travel into the remote town of Nzara to carry out their extraordinary project.</strong></p>

<p>Through education and training, Flame International equip church leaders in war-torn countries with the tools to care more effectively for their traumatised communities. The horror witnessed by the people they work with is unimaginable. Flame International recognise the power of an image and its ability to communicate complex situations and to put the viewer right alongside people whose lives are very different from our own:</p>
