First of all, thank you for taking the time to visit this page, and especially for supporting this amazing cause.
I wanted to do something special to support Multiple Myeloma UK, and this seemed to be a good challenge!! Its not so much of a race, thats more the 'banter' side of things, but more of a challenge for myself and the Verbier Peloton, and to team up with Neil and raise money for his charity, St. Mungos. The idea is to cycle around Lake Geneva, at the same time as Neil rows across the lake. The date that has been set, by Neil, is for the 15th of August, which is the 7th anniversary of the day that my Dad, Simon Chandler, lost his fight against Multiple Myeloma, a cancer of the bone marrow and white blood cells. Which is why I have decided to raise money at the same time.
With your support and donations I hope to raise awareness and money for Multiple Myeloma UK, who provide support and advice for people with MM and also their families, before, during and after the illness. You can read more about them, and the great things they do here: http://www.myeloma.org.uk/
We will be putting training videos and photos on the page, and looking forward to seeing as many of you there on the big day as possible, and on behalf of myself, Neil, and the Verbier Peloton, thanks again. Please see below for the official Just Giving blurb, happy reading, and thanks for reading this,
