For many people Autism is just a word and until you experience it for yourself it is very difficult to explain Basically it is a lifelong disability which affects the social and communication of the brain. Autism affects the way an individual relates to people, situations and the immediate environment. There is no known cure, but there are many ways to help!

Autism NI (PAPA) is Northern Ireland’s main Autism charity. Formed in 1989 the charity supports a network of 30 branches and local support groups across NI providing free advice and information, a helpline service, support for parents and carers and a wide range of training courses throughout NI.
