Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. There are some pretty pictures to browse through and a video of the proposed route (with a delightful soundtrack) - for your interest...

The Motor Neurone Disease Association is a charity that means a lot to myself and my family. My uncle died from this disease at about the same age that I am now. My grandparents were founder members of the charity, the 30th Anniversary of which is on 6 October 2009. Therefore it felt appropriate to try to raise awareness and hopefully a few donations from this endeavour. I leave on 7 October.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Any contribution is greatly appreciated.
