<p><span style="color: #888888;">We (Ali and Rosey) are going to 'compete' (or crawl) in the Saunder's Lakeland Mountain Marathon on the 7th to 8th of July. This is an unusual marathon including two days of running with rucksacks full of equipment. We will have maps and coordinates and have to use our compasses and endurance to get through the course. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #888888;">We are trying to raise money for this event as a good friend of ours (Dave Gould) was recently involved in a serious climbing accident. If it weren't for the quick response and finely tuned performance of the Llanberis mountain rescue team we would not like to consider the possible outcome.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #888888;">We along with Dave's friends and family would like to say thank you to the mountain resuce team that helped Dave and many many others each week. Especially in this current climate of austerity their voluntary services are ever more underfunded and overstretched. And what better way than running in the mountains (lets hope we dont need their help). On that note we would greatly appreciate your contribution however big or small!</span></p>
