Story

Hello everyone, please can I ask you to sponsor me as I take part in this years Carlisle Santa Dash.

The Santa Dash is a fun way to raise the profile of Eden House Children's Hospice and CFM's Cash for Kids. Any sponsor money raised is going to be split 50/50 between the two charities.

The event consists of a 'dash' of about 3K (less than 2 miles) that will start and finish from inside Carlisle Castle. The route will see around 2000 Santa's running around Bits Park, the City Centre and the Cathedral.

You can come along and watch and get involved in the event if you like? There are going to be some of other attractions inside the castle, you can try some special mulled wine and mince pies, walk around the stalls and other entertainment. I have to run around the city, but you can enjoy some festive entertainment before doing some Christmas Shopping?

I thought donating through JustGiving was a simple, fast and totally secure way to collect some sponsorship. Your details are safe and you won't get any unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

It is the most efficient way to donate as it cuts down the cost for the charity. I will be running with some freinds in the Carlisle Sub-Aqua Club although suprisingly no-one from the club has agreed to run with all their diving gear on.

Please dig deep and donate, my personal target is £50, the club is yet to anounce the overall target figure as it depends on how many of us take on the challenge.
