Trek26 Brecon Beacons 2019 – 26 miles · 14 September 2019 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Please help me raise some money for Alzheimer's Society as I trek a full 26 miles (the distance of a marathon) across the Brecon Beacons. The route will take me up a number of climbs including the highest peak in South Wales - Pen Y Fan (886m above sea level).

It is unlikely to be an easy task taking approximately 8-10 hours, the effects of which I will likely feel for a few days after the event - so I am not especially looking forward to it!

Show me some support by sending some of your hard earned cash and I will do the hard work. Make me a hero, please donate!

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
