Story
Carrieanne is 10 years old and the daughter of a life long friend. She was diagnosed with congenital myopathy when she was seven years old. The family have set up Carrieon-fighting to raise awareness for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and to help fund research into congenital muscular dystrophies and congenital myopathies. At present there is no cure for Carrieanne's congenital myopathy, so funding further research is valuable to the hope of identifying new treatments in the future.
Further details on Carrieanne's story are available at: http://www.carrieon-fighting.com/
I made this page to help make awareness and give to the Charity The
Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, to help research into congenital
myopathies and assist Carrieanne's worthy cause.
To raise funds I intend to run the Wigan 10K on the 7th September 2014. This probably isn't the greatest idea I've ever had following recent major surgery in August 2014. However any discomfort I have to work through during the month of training and the event itself is a fraction of that which sufferers of Muscular Dystrophy Campaign bravely overcome every day.
