Gareth was diagnosed with bowel cancer in September 2009 and despite surgery, chemotherapy and a sturdy determination to fight on, died peacefully at home on 8 June 2010, aged 65 years.

The St Davids Foundation provides palliative care service for people and their families facing a progressive life-threatening illness which is no longer curable.

The support and guidance provided to Gareth by the St Davids Foundation during recent months was unsurpassable and the family do not know how they would have got through this difficult time without the assistance of their St Davids nurse, Marion.

Linda, Rhian, Huw, Laura and Rhys kindly ask that if you wish to make a gesture to show your love and respect for our husband, father and grandad you donate to this fantastic organisation.
