It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Gareth (Mr Warren/Sir to lots of you ...) sadly passed away in the early hours of Thursday 5th June, four days after his 61st birthday and just six days after being diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. The speed of his illness has shocked us all but pancreatic cancer often occurs in this way.

He was a much loved husband, father, brother and grandfather to his family and a much loved teacher to thousands of students who passed through his care in the 37 years he spent at Chosen Hill school.

Please donate what you can to help fight this disease - Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all cancers - just 3% of those diagnosed survive for five years. Each year around 8,500 people in the UK are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It is the fifth most common cause of cancer death, causing 5% of all cancer deaths each year.
