Story
2014 is the 350th anniversary of The Royal Marines.
In my younger years I was a member of The Royal Marines Reserve.
Every member and retired member of The Royal Marines, both Regular and Reserve, has been challenged to raise at least £350 for The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund to mark that anniversary.
The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund supports Royal Marines when they are deployed on operations, when they are wounded in combat and when recovering from the stresses of the battlefield. The fund continues to help them when they leave the Corps and also provides for the families of those who lost their lives.
I am proud to be associated with The Royal Marines and am doing my bit to help by running the Cardiff Half Marathon, and asking for sponsorship.
Please help me by making a donation, however large or small, and know that it is going to a great cause.
