I'm currently deployed with 31 Squadron in Afghanistan, where, we are providing close air support for the troops out on the ground. As part of our deployment, we are raising money for charity along side carrying out our daily tasks in theatre. Help For Heroes is the natural choice of charity for our Squadron, given the outstanding work they do for the men and women who have been injured serving our country.

We are attempting to run, cycle or row a collective total of 31,000 miles! This breaks down to each Squadron member covering nearly 4 miles each and every day for 4 1/2 months! At present, i've been running around 5 miles a day for the two weeks i've been in theatre.

Our collective Squadron goal is to raise £31,000, the highest yet achieved by a deployed Squadron.

So please dig deep and donate what you can. Even if only £1, it all helps to give something back to someone who has given so much.
