I'm raising money for Headway, the brain injury charity. Headway is Chaucer Insurance's Charity of the Year for 2011 and was nominated and chosen by staff from Chaucer. Headway provides advice, support and care for those who have sustained a severe head injury, their families or carers. As for me, well, I've never abseiled a building before, especially something seven storeys high like the Fisher Tower. The two flights of stairs up to the top floor of Prospect House are enough for me. Besides, there are more cake shops and pubs on the ground.
But compared to my gravity-assisted slow drop the people Headway are working with have far bigger obstacles to overcome. You can help by making a donation. Please spare what you can.
