War has an extremely wide range of effects that affect a wide variety of people in different ways. War can change people, the people it will change most are the people involved.

It was once reported that civilians and soldiers are impacted much more than the terrorists and political opportunists, a statement that holds true today.

It is for this reason I have chosen to support the work of 3 charities that can help both children and soldiers affected by conflict, these are Unicef UK, Support Our Paras and the Royal Marines Charitable Trust.
