Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My gorgeous wife Polly was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in February 2009 at the age of 41. After a year long battle, which involved high levels of Chemo and radiotherapy, Polly lost her fight on Monday 8th March 2010. Poll has left an enormous hole in the lives of her family and friends, but the memories of her fun loving personality and natural beauty will always stay with us all. She lives on strong in her two amazing daughters Esme and Minnie.
When I finally took the time to look into funding and research for brain tumours it became clear that the bulk of funds went towards other cancers. Brain tumours kill more children and people under 40 years of age than leukaemia or any other cancer, but gets limited funding. Only 12% of males and 15% of females survive bejond 5 years (compared to 50% for all cancers). Therefore, a large percentage of the money raised to date and in the future will go to Brain Tumour Research. Your donations will help to fill this gap.
Thank you for your support.
