Story

Hi everyone

Well bit of an update two new members have joined the team to keep alfie company we have Brock a 8 month old sprocker spaniel and wor darryl to pull me up the hill lol, training starts this weekend up hamsterley forest with both myself and darryl falling off the bike (but who will be 1st ) were also gonna start a video blog on youtube showing the training leading up to the event as well as the event itself ..links will be going up as training progresses ....

were doing a sponsored climb up Ben nevis with alfie and Brock (my trainee spaniel gundogs) to raise funds for Springer Rescue for Scotland .all of us with working or pet dogs would do anything for them ..but what about the dogs who are unfortunately through no fault of there own are left without a family,, springer rescue for scotland gives these dogs a 2nd chance of a happy ending ..so next year myself, darryl, brock and alfie are doing a team climb along with others up nevis to raise some well needed cash for this charity.. the event is 14th june 2014 were gonna be doing some sort of diary/blog from this weekend following us through the training leading us up to the event .. when i say training we need it as this is not only a challenge for alfie, brock and darryl but a personal challenge for myself.. back in 2000 i had a car crash, and to top that whilst in casualty i got told i had cancer double wammy!! this lead to an 8 year battle with the big C which i smashed into tiny pieces .. this climb is also going to prove to myself that im back to normal and hopefully give some hope and inspiration to other people fighting the battle ..it can be beat..

anyone who would like to sponsor myself and alfie please visit our just giving page which i have just set up any amount would be appreciated
