This is a cause that must be close to everyone's heart. Everyone knows someone who has suffered from cancer.  Many more people are surviving cancer than ever before thanks to the research that is being carried out.

Unfortunately, my lovely wife Pat wasn't one of them.

Every penny raised here will help prevent others having to go through what she - and I - did.

The first target of £500 will see me getting a Grade 2 cut, something I've not had since I was 8

The second target of £700 will see me getting my head completely shaved.
