Mencap do a fantastic job at helping to give a fulfilling life to those individuals who unfortunately suffer from learning disabilities.  I hope through visiting my page you are able to donate to this great cause.

The challenge to run from Edinburgh to Nottingham started as a crazy challenge but through sheer stubbornness I have stuck with the challenge. Training has been tough but hopefully the hard work has given me the platform to complete this challenge with the lowest possible suffering.

The route is roughly

Edinburgh - musselborough - Gifford- Duns - Berwick - Holy Island - Rothbury - Hexham - Richmond - York - Goole - Lincoln - Newark - Nottingham

This is equivalent to approximately 15 marathons
