<p>I have been inspired to do this due to&nbsp;some very good friends and colleagues of mine having lost their baby daughter very late in pregnancy. I have been assured the treatment they received from Darent Valley Hospital was second to none, and without the staff at the hospital the last few months would have been impossible.</p> <p>Although the staff can give as much love and comfort to the unfortunate patients that they deal with day in day out, what they are desperately in need of is more equipment and better facilities to help more babies and their parents.</p> <p>I will be joining Craig, his friends and some of our colleagues to take part in Run to the Beat on 25th September 2011, running a half marathon&nbsp;around the streets of Greenwich and its surrounding areas.</p> <p>As many of you will know, im not the most athletic of people by a long way, so this is a massive challenge for me.
