CLDF and the British Liver Trust have merged - we are the only UK charity for all liver conditions. We support parents, children, young people and adults affected, through tailored support and information, and we campaign for improved early detection and better treatment and care.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A very good friend of mine, Gordon Dunse, recently lost his wife, Margaret. She had lived with the liver disease called primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) for 16 years and last year developed Cholangiocarcinoma and died within 6 weeks at only 60 years of age. Gordon is now raising money for the British Liver Trust. They have agreed to ring fence all the money raised to support some research into earlier diagnosis of PSC, which will allow more effective, timely treatment and hopefully find a cure.

I will be cycling 22 miles up and down hills at MAGStock, which is a PSC fund raising event he has organised on 5th June. Not far  to cycle I know but enough given my level of fitness.

I would very much appreciate any donations that you can make to this very worthy cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
