<p>*Stop Press* So much thanks to all who sponsored me, you have all made such a difference. I am very proud to say that On Sunday I completed the 2012 London Marathon in 3 hrs and 54 minutes. It was a fantastic experience with absolutely amazing support from start to finish. As I crossed the finish line I said, never again, this morning I am not so sure........</p> <p>Welcome to my world of Pain (AKA London Marathon 2012)</p> <p>Earlier this year whilst thinking that I wasnt getting any younger and it was about time I challenged myself, and quite possibly during a brief bout of insanity, I applied to run the 2012 London Marathon.</p> <p>Unfortunately for me, whilst my temporary insanity didn't last, neither did my luck.</p> <p>I was accepted.....</p> <p>I will be training from Now (October) until April in a bid to get into shape and ultimately not embarrass myself (Idont want to be beaten past the post by a womble!)</p> <p>I am not running just for myself, I will be running for Amnesty International. Amnesty is a charity run by ordinary people across the globe. They stand up for the rights of every person and fight to protect individuals where freedom, justice, fairness and truth are denied.
