My name is Gary Davies from Nebo, Llanon in West Wales aged 28 years old. Now a retired rugby player due to 2 knackered knees, I have now taken up a challenge of raising money for Cancer Research UK by running 24 marathons in 12 months.

Starting on New Year’s Day in Liverpool, a list of the following races can be seen below. I’ve decided to raise money for Cancer Research UK because over the past few years, I’ve lost members of family and friends, whilst seen others have battled and come through the illness. Hopefully, reaching the target of £10,000, this money will help in trying to find a cure.
