Hi i'm Gary, and i'm raising money for MDS UK on behalf of my Grandad by running the Cardiff Bay 10k in March 23.

Sadly, in September 22, I lost Grandad to MDS. MDS is a form of cancer, which is a group of conditions where the bone marrow doesn’t work properly and produces faulty blood cells.

My Grandad, was the true meaning of a Gentleman, always putting others before himself. He always had a smile on his face, usually accompanied by a terrible joke or one liner.

He meant the world to me and I hope by doing this I can make him proud once more, I know he will be cheering me on all the way from start to finish.
