Gary's Kili Challenge

Gary Newman is raising money for The Paul McCann Fund for Needy Children
In memory of Tinny Tony
Donations cannot currently be made to this page
The charity was set up in memory of Paul McCann who sadly lost his life whilst on duty for the Royal Navy in 2007. The charity organises a Royal Navy Cricket match at Halesowen Cricket club every year and all money raised helps improve the lives of disabled children.

Story

Would simply like to say many thanks to everyone who has donated so far. I have been reading up on kit requirements and what best to take from people who have made the summit. So slowly putting my kit together. Once again many thanks it means alot to the charity.

On March 21 2007 an explosion on HMS Tireless took the lives of two friends Paul (Tinny) McCann and Anthony (Tony) Huntrod.  In memory of them and to raise funds to the Paul McCann Fund For Needy Children I am attempting to summit Mt Kilimanjaro standing at 5895m or 19,341ft via the Machame route.

The Trek is all paid for so all money raised goes directly to the charity.

Please give all you can.

Thank you.
