Story

UPDATED 3/5/11: After an intense 2 month training programme, sore knee and chaffed axilla?!! I completed the London Marathon inside 5 hours, despite the heat, sunshine and a pre-run sore left thigh. Many thanks for all those who came to support me on the day, and everyone who has been donating so generously towards the RNIB; which after all is why I ran in the first place.

There is still time to donate - so please dig deep - thank you!

Hi there!

Many thanks for taking time to read my page.

It has been hard to try and pick myself up from the difficult challenges that I faced last year. However, thankfully 2011 has begun and I have decided to shake off the winter blues by trying to complete a lifelong ambition of mine: the London Marathon.

My choice of supporting the Royal National Institute of Blind People, came naturally from my time and energy spent at Moorfield's Eye Hospital, London. I hope that this opportunity will enable me to give back something to this great institution and worthwhile cause.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Follow my marathon preparations on http://runkeeper.com/user/gasmark or on facebook.

So please dig deep and donate now. Thank you!
