<p>*Update* Had a great time despite the FREEEEEZING water and finished 95th out of 2658 and 1st out of the lads from my TA unit.</p>

<p>Hi! This is Stace and Rhys from Bicknell School. We are helping our teacher Gav to raise money for the Parachute Regiment Charity.</p>
<p>The Parachute Regiment are often first into battle so their job, protecting the freedom and security of those who cannot protect themselves, is dangerous. They could be blown up or shot at any time.</p>
<p>This charity help to support Parachute Regiment soldiers and their families. If things go wrong they can give special equipment to injured soldiers or if the worst comes to the worse help with funeral costs.</p>

<p>Soldiers leave their families for long periods of time and risk their lives so as a country lets support them.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Gav is doing an 8 mile cross country course over hilly ground that will involve running, crawling, wading and getting very wet, cold, and tired.</p>
