On
Wednesday, 16th April, we lost the heart, soul and centre of our family, Gay Chaplin, peacefully and surrounded by love. She touched and enriched
the lives of so many people in and around Maidstone, as a wife, parent, mother-in-law,
sister, aunt, friend and teacher.
During her last months and days, she was helped and supported by the MacMillan nurses from the Heart of Kent Hospice, who cared for the whole family capably, sensitively and with great compassion. They were a great source of support and help through what, inevitably, was a hard and distressing period, and really are the unsung heroes in the day-to-day process of caring.
What can we say to them but thank you very much indeed, and hopefully we can make a difference with any donations that we might raise.
Thank you for donating,
Mike, Nick, Briony and family.
