Next year I'm running in the Virgin London Marathon and i've decided to raise money for 2 great causes that i have been heavily involved with all my life.

Firstly Help for Heroes. After serving for 14 years in the Royal Engineers at numerous places around the world including Iraq and Bosnia, i thought it was about time i did my bit and help raised some much needed money for H4H who provide support to wounded, injured and sick Service personnel, veterans, and their families. www.helpforheroes.org.uk

Secondly Wareham Rangers Youth Football Club. I've played football for as long as I can remember (those of you who knew me in my early years will remember Moulsham Youth and Baddow Spartak). Now my playing days are coming to an end i thought I'd like to raise some money for my local youth football club (who my youngest plays for), Wareham Rangers. www.warehamrangersfc.co.uk
