Story
Myself and my colleagues at Democracy are raising money for Manchester Children's Hospital, a charity very close to our hearts!
The reason we chose Royal Manchester Children's Hospital is to support a good friend of our agency, whose family is benefiting from the amazing specialist care that the hospital provides. We want to do our little bit to help them continue to provide hope and comfort to many more families, now and in future.
We will be taking part in lots of events and challenges throughout the year to reach and exceed our target. Over my birthday (1st and 2nd July 2016) I will be taking part in my own personal fundraising activity - the 3 Peak Challenge, which consists of climbing the 3 tallest mountains in the UK within the space of 24 hours, that means travelling from Scotland, England and down to Wales. I have been training for this over the past couple of weeks and it is TOUGH going so I know it's going to be a real challenge - but for a really great cause.
The three mountains are:
- Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)
- Scafell Pike, in England (978m)
- Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)
I would really appreciate any amount of donation to help me reach my goal target.
Thank you!
Gemma
