Edinburgh Marathon Festival Full Marathon 2013 · 26 May 2013 ·

Over 100,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a neurological condition which affects around 100,000 people in the UK.

Most people are diagnosed between the ages of 20-40, but it can affect younger and older people too. Almost three times as many women have MS as men.

I decided to run the Edinburgh marathon to raise money for the MS society because as a care assistant for the NHS I found the time I spent caring for patients with MS inspiring.  I have seen how your donations can help improve the quality of life for people with MS. You will also fund research into potential causes, new treatments and ultimately a cure.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you! :) x
