Story

Updated on May 28th 2012 at 6:07 PM from the JustGiving API

Thank you everyone for your extremely kind donations!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On June 17th 2012 I will be competing in the Ironman 70.3 in Wimbleball.

The Ironman 70.3 Wimbleball is a triathlon taking place on Exmoor. The event starts with a 1.2 mile swim, followed by a 56 mile cycle and finishing up with a half marathon (13.1 miles), resulting in a total of 70.3 miles covered.

I will be competing in support of the charity Epilepsy Society. I unfortunately lost a close friend of mine in 2010 to SUDEP (sudden death from epilepsy).

I do not feel that there is sufficient awareness of epilepsy as a condition and I feel that the work Epilepsy Society are carrying out into the research of the condition is extremely valuable and requires support.

Please help me reach my target, get people thinking about epilepsy and invest in research that could help save lives.

Every penny really does count!

Thank you for your time and support.
