Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This October, I will embark on a challenge of a lifetime in support of UNICEF's child justice programme.  This programme aims to protect the rights of children that come into contact with the law, whether as victims, witnesses or offenders.

I will travel to Ethiopia with a team from DLA Piper and we will spend 9 days in the Simien Mountains, trekking one of Africa's largest mountain ranges. The treks will be long and tough as our ultimate goal is to summit Mount Bwahit at 4,450m.

Those of you who know me, will know that this challenge won't be easy for me.  I have avoided the gym for some time now and although I carry my gym bag to and from work (creating the illusion that I a gym freak) the kit inside hardly ever gets used! This will have to change! The training involved will be intense which, in itself, may be worthy of your support but I know you will see the good cause that we are raising funds for and I hope you will get behind me.

Please show your support.  Your donations, however big or small, will make a difference.  Please keep visting my JustGiving page to keep updated on my progress and training.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.  Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to UNICEF.
