Leo's Challenge · 18 May 2012

Epilepsy Action is creating a world without limits for everyone affected by epilepsy, connecting people with others, and providing support and information you can trust. We’re calling out the misunderstanding, prejudice and barriers that stop people with epilepsy living their best life.

Story

Leo has faced more challenges in his short life than most people do in their life. A brave little boy who takes everything in his stride is our 16 month old little boy, Leo Mark-Russell Stenner.

At just two weeks old our life turned upside down when we very nearly lost our little miracle. Since then Leo has undergone numerous tests and frequent trips to theatre. At six months of age Leo was diagnosed with Occipital Epilepsy, despite taking medication his condition remains a challenge to control. Along side his Epilepsy Leo receives his food and fluid intake via a tube in his tummy.

The future holds more investigations and planned trips to theatre for our special little man. Although hospital has become our second home, when well Leo enjoys spending time with his 2 year old sister Niamh.

In hope to raise awareness about Epilepsy and how this awful condition affects people like Leo. Myself and a group of amazing people have offered to complete a charity skydive to raise money and awareness for Epilepsy Action.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for those of you who have been kind enough to sponsor us.

Carl and I would also like to say a massive thank you to the people who are doing this skydive in honour of our Leo.

This link will be used to collect sponsors by all those completing the jump.
