On 17th June 2016 I will be taking part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge along with several of my colleagues from npower.  I am doing this in memory of my grandparents, John and Christina.  The 17th June is a particular important date for me and my family as it marks 4 years since we lost my grandad John to cancer and it will be 15 years the same month that we lost my lovely nan, also to cancer.  I am determined to do well for them both.

This is a tough 24.5 mile hike. It covers the Yorkshire 3 peaks – each around 700 metres high. These peaks form part of the Pennine range in the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park.
