Give a little this Christmas
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Hi! My name is Gemma Scullion. In October 2010 I returned home from Nepal where I was doing voluntary work. Although I am not in Nepal anymore I would like to continue to raise awareness of issues that people in developing countries face. I would like to continue to try and make a difference in some way.
I was suppose to go carol singing this weekend to raise money for Christian Aid but unfortunately, it was cancelled due to snow. I hope to be involved in some more events next year.
In the run up to Christmas, we are asking people to think about giving a little this Christmas to help those that really need it.
We have chosen Christian Aid as my Just Giving charity. Christian Aid works globally to eradicate poverty. They work to achieve dignity, equality and freedom for all. They provide assistant to tackle the effects of poverty as well as tackling its causes.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
