<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>As most of you know I had the big C scare&nbsp;last year. There is never a good time for it to happen, but the timing was awful and 2 operations in 2 months wasn't much fun either. But I am one of the lucky ones, everything got dealt with super fast and the disruption to my life was minimal - this was almost 100% down to an incredible <span style="color: #339966;"><strong>Macmillan Nurse</strong></span>.</p> <p>They really do contribute to making life changing decisions and offer the most amazing amount of support in all areas of the&nbsp;lives of those that get cancer and their families. Knowing I am under the care and support of Liz my nurse is so reassuring and you need that more than anything when you hear scary news. These wonderful nurses are funded by Macmillan not the NHS.</p> <p>I&nbsp;thankfully don't need further treatment apart from yearly check ups, but many of the women I met through this weren't as lucky. Charities like Macmillan make a huge difference to them and I would like to help them. So please if you have some spare in these hard times pay it forward.
