My story

I run for the Macclesfield Harriers A.C. along side Phil Gaskel who is the Rossendale event organiser for the London Marathon and part of the reason I am so lucky to be participating and raising money at the same time. I have ran several half marathons and 10 mile road race but I feel Im ready to take the next step. I feel it is important that people should help raise money for local charities and am very grateful to those who are sponsoring me. Im helping to raise money in hope that a new daycare centre can be built for The Rossendale Trust, last year runners from the marathon raised an outstanding £5000. Daycare helps people take part in activities and meet new people which is great to see and hear about. Carers provide 24hour year round support and response to the demands of the trust which I think is amazing what these people and volunteers do.
