Just signed up for the race for life with the girls from work.. Watch out for the Choccy chicks!!

Been struggling a little over the last few weeks, so decided to drop it down shear or two and pedal steady away for a while! Just reached the 800mile mark and looking forward to crossing that first 1000!!

Phew, it's been tough this week! my legs seemed to give in half way, and just seemed to struggle mentally an physically. Think I am about 30 miles short of where I would like to Bev so not too bad! These amazing sponsors are definitely pushing me on.... Thank you xx

Well passed the 500 mile mark, and I have to say there has been times when I think I have bitten off a bit more than I can chew! But bring on the 4500 miles that are left!

Well thanks to the snow I Think I may be a few miles down by the end of this week, but not 2 be disheartened as I am sure I will get back on track soon! :)

This week we sadly lost a great man, who has been fighting cancers evil grasp for some time! Davy was a wonderful husband, dad, grandad and friend. The last thing I wanted to do today in this weather was go out on my bike, but as I was 11 miles short of my weekly target and even though I could easily make those miles up, I couldn't go in to next week miles down not knowing if the weather will get worse next week! So 14 miles later and now 3 miles ahead I am ready to tackle next week. IT'S CANCERS TURN TO BE FRIGHTENED!!!!

Well as the list of friends and family suffering or loosing their lives to Cancer is growing so is my list of challanges on my bike or on foot for 2013.

I am sure most of you will have been affected by cancer some how and know how vital it is to find cures and ways of helping you loved ones. so when you see my page progress over 2013 please be kind enough to support us, even if you can only give a pound or even a pound a week or month,.... every penny will help.

It is going to be a tough year and I have started my list of challanges with a goal of cycling 5000 miles between Jan 1st and Christmas..it doesnt sound a lot, but it is 100 miles a week for a year! I will keep regular updates going and keep adding challanges to my list so please keep an eye out for them! and just remember, I am thinking it is going to be a tough year, but its nothing compared to what our much loved friends and family suffering from this disease are going through!!! So bring on 2013 and lets beat CANCER! oh and if anyone would like to join me.... please!! just shout xxx
